Whatever your taste in music, there’s a song on Beddy

LoBalbo’s CD On My Way to Heaven that you’ll love. The songs range from reggae to country swing to rock-and-roll piano to gospel to folk ballads, featuring harmonica and pedal steel guitar. 

 

The CD was recorded at Irvington, New York’s THE KOOP recording studios with the help of engineer/musician Sam Wagner, and an excellent lineup of professional musicians.

 

Beddy LoBalbo has been a singer/songwriter for decades but only recently began writing songs of worship to help her and her fellow congregants through lonely, frightening COVID times. Beddy has already planned concerts to help raise funds for churches and their many outreach programs. She believes that local churches are essential meeting places where people can connect, be joyful, be generous and be comforted in trying times. “I want this music to reach and benefit as many people and worship communities as it can,” Beddy explains,“I would love to help support the Christian messages of loving kindness and Grace. We need it. We need more joy, Love and Light.” The gospel-inspired It’s About Joy and the Good Samaritan parable sung as a Dylanesque tale On My Way to Heaven are special favorites, garnering lots of attention.
